Edouard Nammour > Video Gallery

Edouard Nammour is a veteran director with a wide-ranging artistic background in music, sculpture, design, computer graphics and visual effects. Ed marries his visually beautiful film and artful compositions with emotion and performance.

Ed earned his degree in studio art and sculpture from Oberlin College. After graduation, he fell in with some filmmaking types, and found that he was a terrible production co-ordinator. Happily, he found that he did have some reasonable musical talents, formed his own music production company, 505 Productions, and wrote quite a number of scores for commercial and promotional campaigns.

After a few years of this, Ed thought that film directing looked like fun and pretty easy too. He found it was a lot of fun, but a lot of hard work too, and not quite as easy as it seemed… at least not quite so easy to do it well and keep clients happy.

After a few years and a few production companies, Ed did find that he had in fact become pretty good at the whole director thing, and discovered just how wonderful and rewarding repeat business can be. Over the years Ed deepened his knowledge of the technology of filmmaking, along with developments in post-production and digital. He also remembered that people, and the human experience, in particular and in general, are essential elements in the creation of memorable and moving motion-picture making. Like a fine wine, or cheese, Ed has matured into a capable and well-rounded filmmaker, who has grown wise and generous enough to forgive his producing partner her penchant for alliteration and annoying metaphor overload.

Clients, many of whom you can see here in the gallery, tend to like him a lot, too.
